This joint workshop is organized by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of National Resources and Environment of the Republic of Belarus, UNDP, UNECE and UN-Habitat. It will be held on 31 May -1 June 2018 in Grodno, Belarus.

The workshop goals are to strengthen the capacity of national and local authorities in Belarus in the field of integrated urban planning and housing policy and to exchange best practices in green urban planning in the country and internationally.

This workshop targets national experts of the CIS countries in the field of housing and urban development, representatives of the regional executive committees of Belarus (Brest, Minsk, Minsk region, Vitebsk, Mogilev, Gomel, Vitebsk, Grodno), chief architects of Belorussian cities (Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Novogrudok, Brest, Grodno, Vileika, etc.), experts of the State Construction Expertise, State Construction Supervision, Housing and Communal Services of the regional and city level of Belarus, and representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, Ministry of Architecture and Construction, Ministry of National Resources and Environment.
