Pros & Cons

3 Pros:
•    H2 is transportable with existing but adapted gas pipelines
•    H2 can easily complement methane (= natural gas) technologically
•    H2 can complement e-mobility


3 Cons:
•    Often, mistakenly H2 is perceived as a genuine fuel which it is not
•    Only “green hydrogen” fulfils sustainability standards
•    “Grey or blue hydrogen” needs fossil fuels such as natural gas (blue uses CCS)
