3rd EPR on-going
In 2021, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan requested UNECE to carry out a third EPR of the country. A preparatory mission took place in February 2022. The country review mission took place from 16 to 24 May 2022. The UNECE Expert Group on EPRs expert reviewed the recommendations of the Third EPR of Kyrgyzstan at its meeting in Tbilisi on 13-14 September 2022. At its Special Session (Nicosia, 3-4 October 2022), the UNECE Committee on Environmental Policy, at the request of Kyrgyzstan, agreed to postpone the adoption of recommendations of the Third EPR of Kyrgyzstan to its next session. At its 28th session (Geneva, 1-3 November 2023) the Committee peer-reviewed and adopted the EPR Recommendations of the Third EPR of Kyrgyzstan (EN).
