EA 1: Increased awareness of stakeholders on the relevance of sustainable wood energy

A1.1  Conducting a comprehensive study on wood energy in the UNECE region

 

Project coordinator:
One international consultant x 2 months x 4,425 EUR

Five national/ international consultants for the tasks of data collection, analysis and validation, drafting chapters and preparing case studies. 
 
5 consultants x 1 month x 1,770 EUR

Other chapters will be prepared by the Secretariat with in-kind contributions of partner organizations or by consultants, if additional XB funding becomes available.

1. The donor agreement has been signed on 03 November 2016 - The donor changed the project in such way, that Finland will provide 10,000 € in financial support and 10,000 € in contribution in kind.  

2. The UNECE/FAO Forestry and Timber Section contacted an expert for leading the project and developed the ToR for the project coordinator.

3. The contract for the project coordinator has been drafted and will be activated as soon as the funds become available (status as of 04 January 2017)
