This in-depth review was mandated by the Conference of European Statisticians (CES) Bureau and discusses the role of national statistical offices (NSOs) in linking data across domains and sources to meet information needs and produce statistical insights on multidimensional issues. It provides an overview of a systematic approach to linking data and summarizes the experiences of NSOs in this area.
