This roundtable was organized by UNECE in cooperation with Astana Innovations and the Department of Digitalization of Kazakhstan as a part of the UNDA “Smart Sustainable Cities for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda in the UNECE Region” project.
Objectives of the roundtable:
(i) To explore the priorities for financing of Nur-Sultan, based on the recommendations of the UNECE Nur-Sultan City Profile;
(ii) To refresh the knowledge on the toolbox for financing sustainable smart city projects;
(iii) To present the next steps on the development of the addendum to the Nur-Sultan City Profile on socio-economic resilience;
(iv) To align cooperation priorities on the project for 2021.
