Webinar on Application of UNFC to Petroleum Total Resource Management: Status and Outlook

29 July 2020 14:00 - 15:30
14.00 to 15.30 CEST (Geneva time) Switzerland

The United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) is a system to compare resource projects across all resource types, including oil and gas.  Projects are assessed in their environmental-social-economic viability, technical feasibility and risks. The resulting transparency allows decision-makers and other stakeholders in governments, finance, corporate and the public at large, to fulfil their environmental-social-economic responsibility, in alignment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by choosing which resource projects to mature, to approve and finance and subsequently how to manage the resources in an integrated manner.
