The UNECE Group of Experts on Gas examines the critical role of gas in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The sixth session will focus on: 

  • Role of gas in improving urban air quality
  • Best practices in managing methane emissions along the gas value chain
  • Synergies between gas and renewable energy
  • Global perspectives on the sustainable production and consumption of pipeline gas and LNG
  • Biogas, hydrogen and other emerging issues
