Conference Economic Aspects of the Energy Efficiency of EU Countries. Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Industrial and Buildings Sectors

UNECE, jointly with the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University (NNSTU), organizes a capacity-building Workshop on Energy Efficiency in Industrial and Building Sectors in the framework of the Conference Economic Aspects of the Energy Efficiency of EU Countries. The workshop will provide an opportunity for peer-learning and exchange of experience between EU countries and countries of South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia in improving energy efficiency. On the first day of the Conference, specific focus is on policies and regulations that promote energy efficiency, barriers and solutions for energy efficiency investments, and the role of digitalization and smart energy. The Workshop on the second day will have a more in-depth sectoral look into industrial energy efficiency and energy efficiency in the building sector. The final session of the conference and workshop will be peer-learning round table on application of experience of EU countries in financing and implementing energy efficiency.
