The three back-to-back events were organized by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and the Public Association EcoContact, in the framework of the in the framework of the EU funded Programme Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood (EaP-GREEN) programme.
The working meeting within the pilot SEA of the National Road Map for the Green Economy of the Republic of Moldova was conducted in order to outline the structure and the content of the SEA report and to discuss further steps in SEA process.
The consultation workshop on practical application of the draft Law on SEA of the Republic of Moldova and amendments of the existing legislation aimed at (i) introducing main element of the draft Law, and (ii) illustrating its practical application on the two SEA pilots carried out within the EaP GREEN at the national and local level.
The workshop on the development of the SEA Guidelines focused on the general structure and content of the guidelines. Next steps in preparation of the SEA Guidelines were also discussed and outlined at the workshop.
