making the best use of available knowledge to meet the existing obligations

World Forum for Harmonization
of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29)

The one-hundred-and-twenty-second
session of WP.29 has on the agenda consideration of more than thirty
amendments to existing UN/ECE Regulations and five new draft Regulations,
of which substantial part is expected to be adopted by vote. Besides,
it is the first session since the entry into force of the 1998 Global
Agreement and WP.29 is expected to consider the strategy of developing
future global technical regulations for road vehicles. |
