We help develop methods and identify good practices for measuring quality of employment from the employed person's perspective, based on the Handbook on Measuring Quality of Employment, A Statistical Framework.
We follow up on the implementation of the quality of employment framework and ensure that it is kept up to date in light of revisions to ILO standards, labour market developments and country experiences.
We also support work on forms of employment with the aim to assist countries in classifying and understanding different forms of employment, as well as in producing relevant, coherent and internationally comparable statistics on forms of employment.
