Reporting on Technical Cooperation Activities

The Programme Management Unit (PMU) is responsible for reporting on technical cooperation issues and activities to the biennial sessions of the Commission and meetings of the Executive Committee. The purpose of the annual reporting is to highlight the technical cooperation activities undertaken by UNECE Divisions and Regional Advisers, including the main accomplishments, the sources and the uses of funding, geographical structure of activities etc. It also helps to timely identify the need for a modification and, if necessary, to introduce adjustments in the on-going activities and projects, as well as to respond to requests of countries for technical assistance.
The PMU also coordinates the biennial reporting of UNECE achievements in the Regular Programme on Technical Cooperation (RPTC). This forms part of the UN Secretary-General’s biennial Programme Performance Report on RPTC.
