On 21-22 February 2022, the Global Film Festival for Road Safety took place in Geneva and showcased over 95 films from 40 countries worldwide in the Film Festival competition. The theme of the festival was “Smart and Safe Mobility”. The Special Envoy gave welcoming remarks where he highlighted that films and stories have a unique power to shape behaviours which can be used to raise awareness. Advocating for road safety is key to have road safety high on the political agenda.
