The UNECE secretariat has prepared two new consolidated documents containing the complete text of all amendments which had been adopted under Phase II of the TIR revision process as well as those relating to Article 3 of the TIR Convention. These amendments will enter into force on 12 May 2002.
Document ECE/TRANS/17/Amend.21 contains the text of all amendments adopted by the TIR Administrative Committee under Phase II of the TIR revision process in English, French and Russian. A Spanish language version will be issued later.
Document ECE/TRANS/17/Amend.22 contains amendments pertaining to Article 3 of the TIR Convention adopted by the TIR Administrative Committee in English, French and Russian. A Spanish language version will be issued later.
The above documents, together with document ECE/TRANS/17/Amend.20 and Add.1 containing amendments on vehicles and containers with sliding sheets which had come into force already on 12 June 2001 and had already been issued earlier, contain all amendments adopted by the TIR Administrative Committee on 20 October 2000 (refer to the report of the Committee TRANS/WP.30/AC.2/59 and Corr.1-5 also available on this web site).
All of these documents can be accessed and down-loaded in English, French and Russian from this web site (click on the left column "TIR Convention" and then "Latest Amendments to the TIR Convention").
