First special session on regional COVID-19 response
The session aimed at updating each other and coordinating the UN system response to COVID-19 at the country and regional levels, including the emergency response and regional-level support to address the wider social and economic impacts; instruments to maintain cross-border cooperation; and the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the UNSDCF development process.
