Introduction
The Working Party on Regulatory Cooperation and Standardization Policies (WP.6) is under the Steering Committee on Trade Capacity and Standards which is within the UNECE Economic Cooperation and Trade Division.
The below diagram provides a visualization of the current organization of the Division.
Subgroups
WP.6 officially has four sub-groups. Each of these has a terms of reference which is approved by the parent body (Steering Committee on Trade Capacity and Standards) and then by the Executive Committee of UNECE.
The work of each of these groups is defined within the annual Programme of Work (available under Polices, Procedures and Terms of Reference).
Leadership
The Chair and Vice-Chairs of WP.6 are nominated by member States and elected at the Annual Session of WP.6 for a period of two years.
