Taking place during the 37th United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) FORUM (4 – 15 October 2021)
The United Nations Global Survey on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation is a key undertaking under the Joint UNRCs (United Nations Regional Commissions) Approach to Trade Facilitation. The Approach was agreed in Beirut in January 2010 by the Executive Secretaries of the five Regional Commissions and was subsequently endorsed by all of them. The survey is carried out every two years since 2015 jointly by the UNRCs — ECA, ECE, ECLAC, ESCAP and ESCWA. The fourth Survey has been launched in January 2021. The global launch of the 2021 Survey results was organized on 14 July. Through this event, the UNECE Regional Report containing the results of the 2021 Survey will be launched.
