The Road Map on Statistics for Sustainable Development Goals - Second Edition is accompanied by case studies of countries and organizations on each of the chapters in the Road Map. The original case studies were collected in 2021. In September 2024, an exercise was undertaken to collect new case studies and to update outdated existing case studies. In addition to case studies on the Road Map, case studies are that accompany other outputs of the Steering Group on Statistics for SDGs.
To keep track of the regional progress in implementing key recommendations, the Steering Group maintains an overview table. Where available, background documents or web pages are provided. The information in this table is mostly collected through a pre-filled questionnaire that was filled out by country representatives. A partial update to the table was made through a CES consultation on lessons learned from providing statistics for SDGs in 2024.
