2020 Workshop on the Modernisation of Official Statistics - online

16 - 20 November 2020

The purpose of the workshop was to ensure that the work is community driven and that activities and initiatives are aligned with the implementation of the HLG‑MOS vision, avoiding duplication and maximising efficiency. The expected outputs are a set of agreed and prioritised implementation actions.

The target audience are statisticians with technical knowledge of modernisation of statistics combined with a broader understanding of the statistical process and its modernisation, including some knowledge about international developments in this area.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and liquidity issues preventing to fill empty posts, the work programme has changed to a large extend. There is therefor less to present and as several activities will be extended to 2021, there is less to decide on new projects and activities.
