On 9 November 2020, the Special Envoy delivered remarks at the first session of the Informal Working Group on UNRSF Fundraising, an inaugural dynamic discussion held in hybrid format to brainstorm evidence-based and innovative resource-mobilization initiatives in a challenging global context.
The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including existing Fund donors as well as other private sector, and member States to find sustainable financing solution to the intractable road safety crisis that plagues communities around the world.
Throughout his remarks, the Special Envoy elaborated on fundraising during the global crisis and invited participants to share about advanced approaches and mechanisms in fundraising.
