Webinar: “UN Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) for Secondary Raw Materials”

10:00 – 11:30 (Geneva time)

23 March 2023

Flyer           10:00 – 11:30 (Geneva time)

This event will present the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) in an uncomplicated and pragmatic manner. UNFC can be used to categorize secondary raw materials, regardless of their source - whether they are residual materials from extractive industries or end-of-life products like batteries and magnets. This is especially relevant for raw materials that are considered critical.

There will also be discussion on the present activities and way forward in light of the EU situation regarding supply of critical raw materials for the circular economy and energy transition.
