Public scoping consultations meeting

The meeting was conducted within the pilot application of SEA for the National Waste Management Strategy and Action Plan of Georgia.

The aim of the meeting was to present and discuss the finding from the initial stage of the SEA and to get a feedback to be considered in further analyses in SEA process. The event was organized by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia with support of the Secretariat to the UNECE Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (Espoo Convention) and its Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment (Protocol on SEA).

The activity was carried out in the framework of the EU funded Programme Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood (EaP-GREEN).
