2nd webinar - Food Systems Summit 2021 and technical session

Agenda and focus:

1. The preparation of the UN Food Systems Summit 2021. The webinar aims to be an opportunity for raising awareness on the Food Systems Summit among UNCTs in the region, sharing latest information on the Summit preparations, showcasing available tools that can support the countries to prepare for the Summit, and discuss requests for support needed from the IBC.

1. The development of capacities of the UN Country Teams in the region on sustainable food systems. A technical session will aim to showcase a selected tool from the IBC Repository on COVID-19 and Food Systems that can support to better respond to COVID-19 impact on food security and nutrition in the region.

Target participants of the webinar are: Resident Coordinators, Head of the RCOs and/or other designated person from RCOs; interested focal points from other UNCTs.
