In this workshop, organized by the Danish Geodata Agency and the UNECE Working Party on Land Administration,  the socioeconomic potential of land administration services was investigated. The workshop focused on the barriers to free and open data and the need to improve the interoperability of public data. Danish plans and experiences were presented together with other initiatives to increase access to data. The workshop also examined the socioeconomic effects of well functioning land registration services and the effects of effective land administration services building on open and standardized property data.
