The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in collaboration with WHO regional Office for Europe jointly organized a briefing on the fifth session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol on Water and Health which was held on 14 May 2019 from 4.00 to 5.00 p.m.
Planned in Belgrade, from 19 to 21 November 2019, the fifth session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol on Water and Health will be a high-level regional event gathering more than 200 representatives of Ministries responsible for water, foreign affairs and development cooperation - from both Parties and non-Parties to the Protocol - together with international and regional organizations as well as non-governmental organizations and academia from the pan-European region.
The briefing was addressed to Permanent Missions in Geneva and other partner organizations and presented the protocol on Water and Health as well as topics to be discussed, main outcomes expected and decisions to be taken during the fifth session of the Meeting of the Parties.
