Side event to the Second Preparatory Meeting Committee of the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III)

In resolution 24/14: Inputs for and support to the preparatory process of Habitat III, the regional commissions were requested to contribute with their expertise and prepare inputs for the preparatory process of Habitat III. The proposed side event discussed challenges and priorities in sustainable urban development in the five regions that are likely to shape the New Urban Agenda, and informed about regional preparations for HABITAT III.
