Organized in close collaboration with the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and CIS Electric Power Council, the event aimed to discuss and review the methodology recently developed under the project and provided concrete recommendations for its finalization.

This project brought together multiple stakeholders from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyszstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation. The fist day of the workshop was dedicated to identifying key issues and long-term planning for solar and wind energy in CIS, and the second day focused on a joint UNDP-UNECE Capacity Building workshop.
