The Working Party will review the status of the 14 United Nations Conventions in the field of border crossing facilitation, which it administers. The Working Party will consider various amendment proposals to the TIR Convention and, in particular, proposals for a new Annex 11, introducing eTIR in the legal text of the Convention. The Working Party will further discuss issues related to the application of the TIR customs transit procedure. Special attention will be paid to discussions on the draft convention on the facilitation of border crossing procedures for passengers, luggage and load-luggage carried in international traffic by rail and to ongoing issues in the application of the Conventions on Temporary Importation of Private and Commercial Road Vehicles.
