Within the framework of the Global Methane Forum 2020 (GMF 2020) the Group of Experts on CMM will organize a full-day workshop on Abandoned Mine Methane and Mine Closure focusing on designing and financing AMM projects, as well as on standards for mine closure.

The event will address the following topics:

  • Environmental Aspect of AMM;
  • Designing AMM Projects;
  • Financing AMM Projects;
  • Standards for Mine Closure.

Please note that the workshop will be a continuation of the event titled Post-Mining Perspectives: Capture and Use of Abandoned Mine Methane and Mine Reclamation and Revitalization of Post Mining Areas that is to be held within the framework of the XXIX School of Underground Mining on 26 February 2020 in Cracow, Poland.
