National workshop “Evidence-based policies to achieve Sustainable Development Goals: sustainable housing and urban development in Ukraine”

The United Nations Economic Commission of Europe (UNECE) and UN-Habitat are organizing the workshop “Evidence-based policies for sustainable housing and urban development in Ukraine to achieve Sustainable Development Goals” in Kyiv on 30 January 2019. The workshop is organised as part of the Business for Smart Cities Expocongress.

The workshop will discuss the role of evidence in crafting sustainable housing and urban development policies in Ukraine with focus on the approaches to data collection and management in the context of the SDG11. The workshop is part of the UNDA project “Evidence-based policies for sustainable housing and urban development to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals”, which is aimed to assist governments in the collection and analysis of national data on housing and urban development for the development of policies in these sectors.
