The 19th meeting of the UNECE Advisory Group on Market Surveillance (MARS) was held online on 13 July. Experts discussed risk-informed policies and enforcement strategies. Highlight of the event was the panel discussion on the challenges of the COVID pandemic for market surveillance, enforcement authorities and exporting companies with speakers sharing perspectives from the UNECE region and beyond.

The Group progressed its work on deliverables for the annual session of the Working Party on Regulatory Cooperation and Standardization Policies to take place from 24 to 26 November 2021.

Due to ongoing travel restrictions the meeting is  held in virtual mode via WebEx teleconference.
