The 3rd meeting of the Task Force took place on 1–2 July 2004 in Geneva, Switzerland. The task force had amended the text of Recommendations on the More Effective Use of Electronic Information Tools and proposed elements for inclusion in a future work programme of the task force.
Subsequently, these recommendations and proposed elements were combined into a draft decision and transmitted to the Working Group of the Parties. The final text was adopted as Decision II/3 on Electronic Information Tools and the Clearing-House Mechanism ( ECE/MP.PP/2005/2/Add.4) at the second Meeting of the Parties to the Convention.
