The 13th meeting of the Task Force on Target Setting and Reporting under the Protocol on Water and Health will review progress by Parties and other States with target setting under the Protocol and will provide an update on the progress with developing the online reporting system. The meeting will also review progress with the implementation of the water-, sanitation- and hygiene-related targets of the Sustainable Development Goals.

As the Task Force meeting will be held back-to-back with the Strategic Roundtable on Increasing Resilience to Climate Change in the Water and Sanitation Sector under the Protocol (Geneva, 13-14 (a.m.) November 2023), the Task Force is also expected to review the outcomes of the Roundtable and discuss how the strategic priorities identified can be reflected in target-setting under the Protocol.

Financial support

Eligible participants from countries with economies in transition and developing countries may apply for financial support to facilitate their participation in the meeting using the financial support request form. Requests for financial support should be submitted to the joint secretariat ([email protected]) as soon as possible but not later than 9 October 2023. No application will be accepted after this deadline. As funding for financial support is limited, priority will be given to Parties to the Protocol and participants contributing to the meetings.
