The Regional Workshop on the State of Forests in the Caucasus and Central Asia took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, from 3 to 5 December 2018.
The first two days of the meeting were dedicated to the review of the draft of the study “State of Forests in the Caucasus and Central Asia”, the first comprehensive study on forests in the region.
The third day of the workshop was dedicated to the review of the national reports for Global Forest Resources Assessments (FRA 2020).
National correspondents from the eight Caucasus and Central Asia countries were invited to participate in this meeting.
