Budget

  

Budget for the implementation of the Convention and its Protocol for the period up to the fifth meeting of the Parties.

The Budget and Workplan are established by the Meeting of the Parties. The current workplan is appended to decision IV/7; information is available on the implementation of its activities. The budget is included as a table in decision IV/8 and is presented below. The two decisions are included in the report of the fourth meeting of the Parties.

Budget for the implementation of the Convention and its Protocol for the period up to the fifth meeting of the Parties (decision IV/8)
 

First are organizational activities (with most meetings taking place in Geneva), funded from the Convention’s Trust Fund.

Second are substantive activities, funded primarily by in-kind contributions (see workplan in annex to decison IV/7 for details).

Each share is of US$ 1,000.
