On 29 April 2013, UNECE hosted an inter-agency coordination meeting on industrial accidents at the Palais des Nations, Geneva. The main aim of the meeting was to identify synergies, opportunities for cooperation, potential duplication to be avoided, and gaps to be filled in capacity-development for industrial/chemical accidents' prevention, preparedness and response.
