The UNECE Industrial Accidents Convention, in cooperation and co-organization with OECD, EIB, Norway and Slovenia, organized a focused thematic discussion on chemical and industrial risk management that took place on 24 of November, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m CET in the framework of EFDRR. The focused thematic discussion was titled Preventing another Sandoz, Baia Mare or Beirut accident: Perspectives on risk management in the context of the Sendai Framework. It aimed at integrating good practice in managing risks related to industrial and chemical hazard into the implementation of the Sendai Framework.
