Environmental Performance Reviews of Montenegro

4^th EPR

In 2022, the then Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism of Montenegro requested UNECE to carry out a fourth EPR of the country. A preparatory mission took place in January 2024 followed by a country review mission on 21-30 April 2024. The EPR Recommendations of the Fourth EPR of Montenegro will be expert-reviewed in September 2024 as well as peer-reviewed and adopted in November 2024 at the 29th session of the Committee on Environmental Policy.

1^st EPR Montenegro and Serbia became independent countries in 2006. They were covered by the 1^st EPR of Yugoslavia.
