| In response to part of the FCN's mandate to "promote the development of national capacity in forest sector public relations and communications, particularly in central and eastern European countries", the FCN has conducted training during its annual meetings. The goals are to improve skills of the participants, so they can in turn use these skills in their work, and also pass them on to their national networks. The train the trainers sessions have also had an added benefit of a forum for exchange of information and experiences in conducting public relations in the forest and forest industries sector. The annual sessions are designed to build upon each other, hence their chronological order below. | |||
