In-depth review of household survey methods in different countries
The Bureau reviewed household survey methods in November 2011, and concluded that household surveys are important building blocks of national statistical systems and need to be better integrated with other sources.
Outcome of the review
The Bureau asked the upcoming meetings on data collection to also deal with household surveys and to prepare a list of available resources on this topic.

The seminar on New frontiers for statistical data collection discussed among other topics household surveys. A seminar on Statistical Data Collection held on 25 - 27 September 2013 discussed several issues related to household survey methodology, for example survey integration and the work of the ESSnet on Data Collection for Social Surveys Using Multi Modes.
